How to Post a PDF on Facebook: Group File or Link
Facebook only lets you upload PDFs in groups — here's how, and how to share one anywhere else.
Uploading a PDF to a Facebook group
- Open the group and tap Write something.
- Choose File (on desktop, the three-dot menu → File).
- Select the PDF, add a description, and post.
Posting on a profile or Page
Profiles and Pages don't accept PDF uploads. Instead, share a link to the document. Facebook will show a preview card if the link has a good title and image.
